♥A Random Gift♥

There is a random night. Roy drove his car to my place and bought Church's Chicken, cheesecake from cheesecake etc., and a Estée Lauder lipstick. It looks so nice and I have been use it for 2,3 weeks now. I absolutely love it and it has very smooth and moisturizing texture. It tastes good and has a lovely vanilla smell:)
It's colour is not so pink but with a bit coral which is my current favorite colour tone. It is very natural and with a little bit of sheer but in a creme base.

I am very surprised a boy can pick such a nice lipstick. I asked him how did he choose it, and he said he asked a guy and a girl lol both of them like it so..haha

Here is the lipstick,

♥M.A.C Foundation, Lipstick, Blush, Mist♥

Little Splurge after finals! YAY I am DONE!! My summer is officially here. Feels like having a trip soon. Right after my exam today I went to M.A.C to get some products I have been wanted on my beauty shopping list :) The make-up artist is very friendly and nice. She gave me a gift size M.A.C zoom lash mascara which I used it right after I got in my car. It it very volumized and dark which I like. I have really watery eyes and I have to use waterproof and anti-smuging mascara, otherwise you will find me being a panda. This mascara doesn't smug much even after dinner I came home and its brush is the traditional one which feels good, and it separate lashes well.

Today I was in rush for dinner so I didn't go to other stores, but I am sure I will go Holt Renfew this weekend becoz they are having a 15% off private sale. I am gonna store up some of my skin care product because it is such a good deal and I heard they have awesome special gifts:) Go check it out if you are in Vancouver or near.

Anyways, The makeup artist Meg( I hope this is how your name spelled) had a nice talk and she helped me pick:

Pinch O' Peach Blush $21.00
It is a really nice pink with a peachy tone in it. There are probably a bit variance between the photo and the actual product. I tired on my checks and it is a really nice peachy and flattering colour.

Cremesheen Shy Girl Lipstick $17.50
My favourite M.A.C finishing is cremesheen because it is sooooo moisturizing and has a natural shine.
Shy Girl has been on my beauty shopping list for a while and finally I got it today it is a nude colour with a peachy undertone which is my recent favourite colours these days.

Satin VIVA GLAM 2 AB1Lipstick $17.50
I am trying out new colour range. The make-up artist recommend me this colour and I will tell you how I feel about it later after I use it:)

Mineralize Charged Water Skin Hydrating mist $26.50
Studio sculpt SPF15 Foundation in NC25 $36.50
I always wanted a full coverage foundation since I have a lot light median coverage ones. I got the studio sculpt and it really has good coverage. I used a tiny amount of it and covers the whole face nicely without using a concealer. You can also use the mist to set up make-up and it really moisturizes the skin. This spray smells good as well it just I dont like its packaging much.

Also, I get 2 more of the L'Oreal 24 Hour Infallible Eyeshadow coz I drop the one I bought when it just came out on the floor. Oops...damage!

♥Soft Sigma Brushes♥

My sigma brushes are finally here!! My last sigma brush shopping experience was pretty good and I received my package pretty fast:) This time, I chose the regular free mailing which takes so much longer than I thought. I've waited for a month...:(

However, I am still so excited to open the box because I've waited for the small contour F05 brush for so long. I always wanted a good contour and bronze brush although I had the F40 which is a bit big than what I wanted. It will be nice to bronze a bit this summer lol U know, get the glow~~~

Here are the 3 brushes I bought. On the left is the Round Top Synthetic Kabuki - F82 brush. I have a Flat Kabuki - F80 and I love it so much which makes me wanna try more of their synthetic brushes. I find the flat kabuki will really give you a polished look , so I prefer use it when I already blended my foundation using other foundation brushes, or simply just my fingers. It is great for a finishing all over face polish to touch up in order to get a air brushed look. If you use the flat one as a tool to blend your foundation, it is good but I just find it is hard to get to your nose area and I feel it a bit weird somehow?:P That's why I really want to try the round kabuki to get a good blend of my foundation or BB creams. I think it will be perfect to get all your areas on your face. lol Can't believe I talked a lot about this brush. I am just too excited, donno if it makes sense to you? :)

The middle one is the F05 small contour brush and I can imagine myself being bronzed  this summer:)

The one on the right is the Short Shader - E20. I have the Eye Shading - E55 which bigger and almost can cover your whole lid when apply eyeshadow. I prefer use it for a mid-tone eye shadow. I also have the Pencil - E30 brush which has a really thin and sharp tip I love using it to get my lower water line outer corner of my eye. ( Am I saying the right part? Kinda complex..) Anyways, I think this shorter one will be really good to use it for a dark-shade eyeshadow to emphasize the outer corner of your eye.

The packaging is nice:) I own a lot M.A.C brushes but I think the Sigma brushes are just as good.
(A LOT cheaper! You can only probably buy one brush in M.A.C instead of 3,4 Sigma brushes.)

They are so kind that they gave a free blending brush (E25) just like last time even I only buy like 40 dollars stuff. The packaging is so pretty and with clear explanation of the usage for each brush.
Even the gift is well-made; it is so soft and not too dense or thin which will do a great blending job.

♥Guerlain, Estée Lauder, Nature by Valmont and Too Faced HAUL!♥

Today I went shopping in Holt Renfew and Robson. Bought a lot things I might need for the summer because I am going back to Shanghai and probably intern in Hongkong this summer. I need some backups;)

I went to SHIFEON and they have special promotion on Guerlain Limited edition and discontinued products. That is how it got me. Can't resist.

Here is what I bought:

Guerlain Terre Indigo 4 shades eyeshadow ( Limited Editon )
Guerlain Parure De Nuit Pressed Powder&Blush
Guerlain Kiss Kiss Precious Colours #569 in Rose Entetant
Guerlain Kiss Kiss Precious Colours #557 in Flushy Beige
Guerlain TERRACOTTA Fard Metal Eye shadow & Liner

Estée Lauder Day Wear BB Multi-Perfecting Beauty Benefit Cream SPF 35 (It has been sold out the whole time and I finally got one in Holt Renfew!)

My mom bought a YSL Beaute in #07, so I used my Sephora points and got a Too Faced The Naked Look.
It contains 2 Eye Shadows, 1 Blush&2 Lip Glosses from their best-selling naked collection. If you really like this Palette, then you need to go to ur local Sephora ASAP lol

Nature by Valmont Corseting Serum
This thing is expensive $240!! I am almost finishing the Benefit toning&smootjing serum and I have always wanted to try a new product. I really hope this will do miracle on my face :)
Also, I got so much different skin care samples by La Colline and Valmont. Will review it later if you are interested.

Guerlain Terre Indigo 4 shades eyeshadow ( Limited Editon )
I think the camera didn't focus so I took a close one.
Four Eye Shadows connected by a summery gold colour.

Guerlain Parure De Nuit Pressed Powder&Blush
A piece of art!!
I am wondering how I am supposed to use it? coz it is tooooo pretty!!

Guerlain Kiss Kiss Precious Colours #569 in Rose Entetant

Guerlain Kiss Kiss Precious Colours #557 in Flushy Beige
darker than the previous one but it is very wearable too!

Guerlain TERRACOTTA Fard Metal Eye shadow & Liner
Sorry that my camera cant pick up the pretty golden colour. It is a shimmery and golden eye shadow& eye liner, so I think it will be awesome for the inner corner of my eyes or as a high lighter on the eye lid for this coming summer=)

Estée Lauder Day Wear BB Multi-Perfecting Beauty Benefit Cream SPF 35
I tried the texture, and it is very moisturizing and smooth. It got good coverage but not full coverage which I like. I can't stand my face with a heavy foundation mask on for the whole day!

Too Faced The Naked Look
Isn't it adorable?

Nature by Valmont Corseting Serum and some samples^^
Finger crosssss for it's result!!

All these products, I swatched in stores. I love them all and tell me if you want a more detailed review on a specific product.

♥Revlon Super Lustrous Lipstick REVIEW!!♥

Hi everyone,
Happy Easter weekend!! If there is anyone is going to shopping in Seattle this weekend, here is a little review for the Revlon Lipstick;)

Here is what in my collection:
Revlon Super Lustrous Lipstick
#668 in Prim Rose
#510 in Berry Rich
#460 in Blushing Mauve
#683 in Demure

I bought this from time to time, and I always have a shopping list to reward myself. These lipsticks are all in creme texture so it is very smooth. The colours are pigmented except the Demure one you need to put more layers in order to see the colour better.

I bought Prim Rose first and it is a baby pink lipstick but in a soft tone. Unlike M.A.C VIVA GLAM GAGA Lustre, it is softer and more wearable if you don't want a dramatic look. These days, I tend to avoid pinky colours and prepare coral and orange colours, so I barely wear it anymore.

Berry Rich and Blushing Mauve are similar. However, Berry Rich is a stronger reddish colour compare to the Blushing Mauve. It will be a sexy and more of a mature woman looking on people. Instead, Blushing Mauve is more of a reddish, coral and everyday casual neutral colour to wear with.

Demure is a very pretty coral colour with a bit shimmer in it. It looks pretty but when you apply it; it just doesn't show colour much. In my theory, lipsticks are made to show different lip colours in order to match with different looks. If it isn't a good company with your lips, I'd rather choose a more moisturizing lip stain or.. you know Revlon lip butter? Therefore, I don't like Demure and I think it is a waste of money.

Here is the swatches.
The top one is Demure, Blushing Mauve, Berry Rich and the bottom one is Prim Rose =))

♥My Topshop Package Arrived♥

Topshop is an UK fashion store? Haha If you are really asking me what is it, I find myself knowing not much about it. "Topshop is a British multinational clothes retailer specialised in women's clothing and fashion accessories. It has shops in around 20 countries and online operations in a number of its markets." This is by Wikipedia, and I just know Vancouver has it too after I researched it!

Damn it because I ordered mine online from UK T^T and I paid for an extra fee of $70.59. However, when I shopped online, it didn't show I need to pay for an extra fee. Because I bought a totally of 109.80 pounds stuff ( around Canadian dollar of 173.75), the shipping was free. Until I m going to the post office, and I have been told that I need to pay extras. It is unfair and it is such a tragedy!!

My advice: Definitely do more research on the brand that you are gonna do online shopping and avoid paying for unnecessary money. Nowadays, everything is more international and lots of shops might open in your current city. Don't miss it and has a tragic shopping experience like me. lol

I love UK vintage styles coz I feel it is elegant and feminine. Here is what I ordered:
Pocket Ponti Skater Dress by Rare - Navy Blue-Size 8
Skater Belt Dress by Rare - Red-Size 10
Drape Wing Tunic Dress -Mink-Size 8
Lipstick in "Infrared"

Lipstick in "Infrared"

The packaging is pretty good and they even included hangers for each dress:) It makes my broken heart from paying the extra fees feels a little bit better. Also, I want to mention that I am a size 2-4 in North America and I bought size 8 for UK sizes. I bought the red skater dress one size bigger because I read the online review and people say it is smaller than regular sizes.

The navy blue dress fits me perfectly!! I love the idea of having a low back, and it will be perfect for spring and summer. I wore it for my presentation today. The fabric is quite nice, thick and soft. The linings are clear and it really makes the "S" shape of my body^^ Just my arm is a bit big that's why I bought the one with sleeves:P I haven't try the red one and the nude one but they both look quite nice! The red dress has the same fabric as the navy blue dress, and the nude dress is quite silky and smooth:)

The lipstick's quality is just as good as my M.A.C ones, and "Infrared"'s bright coral color gives a pop of color in the coming summer 2012. Well, it doesn't have to be a summer lipstick, you can basically wear it all year long:) It has a quite moisturizing finishing, so it makes my lips look healthy and smooth. There is no negative feelings do far. I am really satisfied with their lipstick, and I'm looking forward to trying more their products if I got any chance.
